The loggers return. Mike fears his workers will think him crazy talking about weird animals he saw. After snakes invade the worksite, Mike decides to return to the east side, but a crow snatches his truck keys. He orders the crew to walk out. DA uses a trick Uncle Abe taught her to expand and contract space, and the men wander all day. Bernardo, the green snakeman, tells his story.
