Author Andre White attended the University of Michigan (U of M) to further his passion for writing through its Creative Writing program (PCAP). He wrote “Sorreal”, a social satire, in the Michigan Review, book titled: On the Corner of Nihilism and Hope, ISBN: 978-0-57810142-2; it's a collection of U of M best creative writings; editor, Colleen Cirocco, published with Dakota Avenue West Publishing. He is also author of Angel Eyes, a nonfiction short story in a collection, book titled: Prison Noir. It was published with Akashic Books, e-ISBN: 9781617753312, editor, Joyce Carol Oates. The author also had written: Memoirs Rippling Through the Ocean, another short story which exemplifies Michigan’s prison culture, particularly, life in segregation units and detention cells. It was published as honorary exposition with Humanorum, Vol 2, Central Michigan University’s (CMU) Journal on Society.

His popular website, Blahsé: Journey beyond walls of the mind, caters to Black Buddhists & Hikers with exposure to an amazing spiritual community.
