God bless The Greatest Generation

My wife found this podcast on FB. I graduated HS with Susan and lived down the street for awhile. I only knew that her father was a POW of the Japanese but was too young to comprehend what that meant. Today, after a 25 year Army career and a military history enthusiast, I wish that I could’ve given the man the proper respect he deserved. Because men like CPL Hearn were tossed back into society with little veterans assistance is why the VA and others bend over backwards to help heal the returning veterans today
